MINI launches three new special edition trims across its line-up

MINI launches three new special edition trims across its line-up

MINI’s changes don’t stop there, though, because the interior of each car has been completely redesigned for the Resolute specification. Changes include new chequered seat upholstery, a new gold trim panel for the dashboard, a laser-engraved surround for the infotainment system and new Resolute badges for the treadplates and steering wheel.

The new Untold specification is available with every engine variant of the MINI Clubman. It’s priced from £28,400 and features Sage Green metallic paint, 18-inch alloy wheels and full John Cooper Works body kit. MINI has also designed five new vinyl stripes that run along the car’s bonnet and over its roof in place of the usual two stripes.

The Clubman’s standard door handles, tailpipes and badges have also been swapped for black replacements, while the car’s door mirror caps and roof can be specified in black as an optional extra. Like the Resolute range, MINI also swapped the Clubman Untold’s grille surround for a bronze-coloured replacement.

Inside, the Clubman Untold gets green leather sports seats with fabric backrest inserts, backlit trim strips for the dashboard, an anthracite headliner and brass-coloured air vent surrounds. The car’s steering wheel and floor mats also feature the new “Untold” badging.

MINI’s new Untamed specification is exclusive to the Countryman SUV. It comes with Momentum Grey metallic paint and a unique graphic for the doors. Unlike the standard car, the body colour has also been used to coat the car’s badges and bumper inserts. Prices start from £29,750.

The Countryman Untamed also gets two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, black door mirror caps and a black roof. Buyers can specify a piano black trim pack, too, which swaps the car’s headlamps surrounds, grille surrounds, door handles and badges for black replacements.

Interior tweaks are similar to the rest of MINI’s new special edition models, starting with green leather upholstery and some unique trim panels for the dashboard, door cards and air vents - although, this time, they’re finished in blue and silver rather than bronze.

The anthracite headlining remains, as does the trim badge for the steering wheel and the floor mats. MINI has also fitted the Countryman Untamed with an ambient interior lighting back and its drive mode selector.
